Eusoffians don't die hard, they don't die.

Today's volleyball finals was just amazing, and in more ways than one. Must admit I was very surprised by the number of supporters who came considering that it was a saturday morning and moreover it being Valentine's Day (or is Eusoff a lonely Hall? =P). The team really gave everything for the gold and it was well earned...

17-20 Eusoff is down by 3 and Chris calls the timeout.
Rallies, spikes, blocks...
20-20 and Eusoff evens the score, KR calls for a timeout.
Both teams go back in fired for the win and the exchange begins...
23-20 Chris calls another time out; we need to get 5 good points before they make 2!
Pressure equally high on both sides with us needing to turn the tide and KR afraid of losing it so close...
23-23 Eusoff evens the score again and KR calls the time out.
Teams step back in to close the first set of the match...
25-23 What a comeback by Eusoff! We ran onto the court as if it was the third set we won; yes, it was THAT intense.

The second set went somewhat like the first, both teams being really close and KR holding the lead for most part before we caught up near the end and pushed over to win the set. Watching them fight for every ball; close the gap point by point and take the lead was just amazing. We don't go down easy, if we go down at all! The third set had a rather sloppy start and we gave them a 6 or 7 point lead early in the game that proved fatal. That said, we finished the set trailing by only about 3 or 4 points, showing once again the team never gives up no matter how bad things may look. The fourth and final set was smoother with us taking the lead early and though they caught up mid-set, we pulled ahead again and finished it to bring home yet another gold for Eusoff.

Service today was pretty different with Pastor Jenn dropping the sermon and going into a time of ministry instead. After worship I left to grab a drink and some sweets and sat outside the main sanctuary for awhile. I just felt so exhausted, and I didn't even play during the volleyball game (which probably out my voice more than anything else). Maybe it's not all physical. During the time of ministry there were 101 things on my mind, all the things that have been going haywire and also my toe which I injured during the RH friendly which STILL hasn't recovered yet. Haven't been able to curl that toe for close to a month. Hope it's got nothing to do with the bone, probably have to go see a doctor soon. After dinner we went to Wee Kok's place for dinner and Wii or more like Guitar Hero, which was kinda hilarious since it was the first time for most of us. A couple of people from Bob's cell joined us as well, and we had something like 8 pizzas. As usual Wee Kok's mum got down to baking for us as well, it's really impossible to leave his house hungry, well at least if his mum is around haha.

IHG is over for me, sadly it's back to the world of lectures, tutorials and labs once again. EG1413 presentation on Monday gotta get the slides up...

The one-off's and the unforeseens,
Week by week; that's how months go by...
